As President of the ESRBA and on behalf of its Executive Council, it is my pleasure to present this 2018 edition of our annual Member Directory. Within these pages is the most up-to-date information about the judges, attorneys and other court-related personnel throughout the First Judicial Circuit of Florida and the Pensacola Division of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida. Members repeatedly confirm that they rely on this directory as a regular and reliable reference source, so we consider this effort an important Member service. A digital copy is also available online at the ESRBA website.
Our Association and its predecessor have a long and honorable history. The Society of the Bar of the First Judicial Circuit was organized in 1929 and was one of the first and most respected local associations in the State of Florida. With fewer than 75 attorneys in the four-county area at the time, there was a great deal of shared congeniality and friendship, in addition to zealous representation of clients, that made the Association strong and the envy of the rest of the State.
One of the goals of the ESRBA today is to continue to foster that same congeniality and friendship among attorneys and judges to better serve the judicial process. Your 2017-2018 ESRBA Executive Council is a talented and diverse group of professionals committed to facilitating that result in in a rapidly-evolving legal climate. We hope that this Directory will play a helpful part in accomplishing that goal.
We would like to extend a special thanks to our Executive Director, Mike Doubek, and Membership Services Specialist, Michele Schamberger, for their hard work bringing this year’s directory to print, along with our printing partner, Ballinger Publications, for another great edition. Lastly, thank you for your membership and continued support of the ESRBA. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as your President this year. I hope I am able to interact with all of you in one way or another, and I thank you for your confidence in me. I will work diligently to ensure that the ESRBA remains an organization its Members are proud to be part of.
